Too Late for the UHSE 2010? NEVER!
May 9, 2010
I was so excited about the online expo coming up and didn’t realize until a few minutes ago that I missed it! Can I still purchase a ticket and listen to the sessions and also look at the vendor ads?

Hi!
OH! I am so sorry! Wish you could have joined us. Of course, guess what! You never “completely” miss our events. They DO live on.
You can grab the ticket today and access everything that has been posted on our membership site up to date (we have almost all of the audios, gifts and vendor pages online already). There will be even more loaded into the membership site over the next two weeks. So, actually, you are right on time.
If you want to grab your ticket, here is the page where you can order:

If you need more help, just let me know. Hope you have a super day!

Notebooking Help Please!
April 1, 2010
Good afternoon!
I have looked thru your site in the past and again today and must say I’m a bit overwhelmed. I do believe our children would love notebooking.
I would like to order your products that would help me understand and implement notebooking in our home school. Which products will do this?
Thanks!

About in the Crazy House–Is it All REALLY Worth It???
March 15, 2010
What do you do when you feel like giving up? Is it ALL really worth it?
Ever had those questions? You may be like my friend, who wrote me this email:
The circumstances surrounding my family are about to put me in the crazy house and I don’t know who to talk to. WHAT DO I DO…? I HAVE RESOURCES GALORE BUT HAVE NO INTEREST BECAUSE OF ALL OF WHAT LIFE IS DEALING US. SOMETIMES I QUESTION MY FAITH AND ASK IS IT ALL REALLY WORTH IT.
Relate?
What do you do when things are driving you crazy? What do you do when curve balls come at you from every direction? What do you do when you have a heart to homeschool, but life is dealing out really tough stuff that is distracting you, frustrating you, and causing you to lose interest in homeschooling? IS IT REALLY WORTH IT?
Tough times do come for all of us. Read more
How Do I Know When I’ve Failed at Homeschooling?
February 17, 2010
Recently, I got the toughest question that I have ever gotten. I have chewed on it since mid-January. Wonder what it is? Here it is:
How do I know when I’ve failed at homeschooling?
Heather
Tough one, huh? I think that this is a great question. Actually, this is a question that makes me want to jump in an airplane and head your way to give you a great big hug! It is the perfect theme for this issue of HSEW.
I love this question because I think that somewhere deep down, we ALL have this one! We will all find ourselves grappling with this one. We all will feel this way from time to time.
I have hit situations that were so tough that I wondered about my own success or failure as a mom. We all want to be a success and somewhere along the line, we will hit a tough time that really makes us look back and wonder if we have done all that we can or if we have been a success or failure. Sweet friend, you are NOT alone!
So, back to your question…

A Question about the Notebooking Book…
February 2, 2010
Hello,
I have a question about the Notebooking (Yes! You Can…) e-book. Is this only available as an e-book? Also, does the sale price at your on-line store ($15) include the Companion CD? Thank you!

How to Protect Kids from Mobile Internet?
July 8, 2009
Cindy,
I follow your parenting tips and think lots of us are concerned not only about quantity of screen time but obviously quality – especially now that kids can get to the web on our phones, the iPod Touch devices, etc. I am friends with a software developer team who have 7 kids among them, and they recently created a new iPhone app (works w/Touch too) that is a “safe” browser. It filters automatically the bad sites like adult content, guns, gambling, as well as stuff like YouTube, etc. It also has a long list of fun, appropriate and human-vetted kid-safe sites, divided into categories. Parents can set usage limits, view usage and get email reports on what kids are doing. Parents also can add sites to the “safe” list.
Don’t know about you but I don’t want my elementary-age daughter viewing adult content on my phone! Website is www.surfbalance.com if anyone might be interested in learning more. Read more
Where is the Best Place to Stock Up on Lapbooking Supplies???
April 18, 2009
Cindy,
Thank you for holding the lapbooking class. I missed the first 30 min. because we were milking our cows, but so enjoyed the rest of it. We have been participating in the Creation Astronomy classes with Felice and the children got so much from that. I have tried a couple of times to lapbook but have got bogged down in my own perfectionism, that needless to say it hasn’t proved to be that enjoyable or retainable….memorable, probably not the kind I would hope for:) Anyway, I have 4 children, dd 11, dd 8, ds 6, ds 4, and I;m sure they would all enjoy the hands on learning…..I guess the thing I learned last night was to put all the different pieces into a ziplock bag till we are done and then put the lapbook together…I don’t know why I hadn’t heard that before!!:) I am excited…I think for my boys we are going to do a monster truck lapbook/notebook; not sure for my girls yet. My 8 year old wants to read the Little House on the Prairie series herself and I have primer that goes with that so I thought I could incorporate lapbook/notebooking into that and maybe my 11 yr old would od that also, eventhough she’s already read them. She’s reading the Elsie Dinsmore series, so maybe there’s something out there along that line?

Questions about Ultimate Women’s Expo…
January 18, 2009
Cindy,
I have a few questions before I grab my ticket.
How does the expo work? Do I have to be around the entire weekend? Can I access all these wonderful things at my leisure from January 29-31? Will I be able to save the seminars that I truly like…like the one I was listening to the other day…so that I can refer back to it in the future?
I appreciate all information you can give me with regard to this. I’m very excited about it! Love, Lisa S. Read more
Confused about Spiritual Warfare Seminar Set
December 18, 2008
I’m sorry Cindy. I’m confused. You have the Super Bundle for $99.95 and the Mommy Pocket Pal for $89.95 then order with a friend for $45.
I’m confused about exactly what’s available with each… My hubby was wanting to know what kind & how much space the Pocket Pal has on it too. I have a player, but it would be easier for me to get the super bundle sent to me on a Pocket Pal than for me to try to download everything myself… I also have a friend (she introduced me to you…) who I could probably order with, if we were gona be able to get a much better price together…
Congrats on your soldier coming home.
Abundant Blessings,
