Hi everyone!
We want to welcome you to our NEW blog dedicated JUST to the purpose of bringing you our NEW podcasts!
Very simply, podcasts are downloadable audios that you can subscribe to (free on our site!). You will need a RSS aggregator (downloads your audios on your subscription list automatically–you just enter the RSS feed for each subscription you want). We use I-tunes for ours at this time. I will include instructions for the various options in a future post . If you do not want to have an aggregator (or it sounds like another language for now!)…you can always subscribe to our ezines (click here). We list updated audios on the ezine. When you see the listing, you can come here to download your free audios into your computer/MP3 player.
Why another blog?
I love my blog at Homeschool Blogger. The only downside is that there is SO much information there that it is often very difficult to find specific information that you may be looking for. As we introduce our online audios, they will have a tendency to be lost in the midst of the hundreds of other messages at the blog. Using that blog requires that you stay up to date on my posts (of course, we JUST added RSS feed there!! More on that in a bit.) Plus, we have not had the capabilities to upload audio podcasts that you can take with you in your MP3 player–a HUGE desire of mine!! UGH! 
Now this has ALL been resolved HERE!
It is hard to believe that just one month ago as I began my New Year, this was only a dream! I had it on my heart, but there was no way to DO it! It looked like a wonderful resolution for the new YEAR. God has blessed me sooo richly by giving me one of the desires of my heart! Now, I sit here (barely–since I feel like squealing so the whole world will know!!)…and share with you a fun new beginning! Just wait and see! This is SOOOO awesome!
What can you expect? Well, this site will be our little spot on the internet that brings us together for a time for tea. If you could picture getting together just mom-to-mom for a nice cup of tea, big hugs, and sweet conversation, then you can picture a bit of what I hope for this site to be! (In fact, I am sitting here with my nice big cup of tea right now!)
Sooo, all of this to share with you that this site will feature the following:
- Regular Audio Blog Workshops! For real! Here on this site, you can listen in to regular Audio Blog Workshops that will be podcasted–nice word for sent to your desktop ready-to-listen online OR ready to download into your MP3 player. This EXCITES me! I can stay home, bake bread and STILL get together with you mom-to-mom! I love it! On these, you will get to hear broadcasts of our meetings and regular recordings of topics coordinating with our e-zines. I think that you will really enjoy these! Again, these will be nicely archived by topic and ready to access at any time! You have the option to listen in online or download and carry me along with you! Too fun!
- Tea Time Interviews! Oh! YES! I have already got a WONDERFUL line-up of dear friends who will join me for regular Tea-Time Interviews! Get to know some of my dear mommy pals who constantly “pour” into my life! You will LOVE them! They are sweet, sweet vessels of God! Also, I will bring you regular interviews with great writers who are sure to “fill your cup to overflowing” during their Tea-Time with us! Best yet! You can subscribe to our RSS feed (again, more on that in a bit!) and these awesome Tea Time Interviews will come directly to your desktop! You will LOVE it! These are set up the same way as the E-Workshops. They will be archived by topic/person interviewed. Then, you can listen in online or download to carry with you! I think that these will be an AWESOME treat!
- From the Mail-bag! I get hundreds of great questions per week. Only a very small number of those can appear in our ezine or on my blog. This is mostly because it takes so long to answer them. Well…NOW we have an answer! It is so fast to record and share those answers here. So, you will find a large potpourri of topics addressing these Questions/Answers in our archives very soon. Isn’t this just SUPER? Praise God for technology!

Oh! I cannot tell you how much we wanted to offer you regular online audio chats and broadcasts that you could tune into. This is the PERFECT place for all of that! As you can see, everything can be easy to find with its easy sections.

Remember I said that I would tell you about RSS? I will not go into the depths of RSS. Instead, RSS links our site directly to your computer. In fact, you can subscribe to us and other sites that are set up for RSS so you can check out our regular goodies without the risk of virus’, getting us lost in bulky email, or even missing us because of spam filters.
All you do is subscribe by adding our RSS Feed (see the bottom of this page for the link that includes our feed) to your favorite service. You can use this link for our feed: http://www.cindysdesktop.com/?feed=rss2
When you download a receiver and add an RSS address, it will automatically download the most recent posts for you to see. Then, it will automatically update with new posts that we have coming out. Most of them also have a media player that will play our audios for you. They are SUPER-and everything is FREE! 
By the way, it can do EVEN more…so we have LOTS of room to grow here! WOohoo!
