Ok, good soldier! How are you doing? Are you sticking with me? Is this helping? Well, today is going to be GOOD. I love this lesson.
Before we jump in, if you are new and this is your first day to see my series here, please go back and dig into the other posts. I normally do not post a series that simply MUST be studied in order, but this one is one which will really help you to become a good soldier and handle life’s battles if you will dig in and take each lesson bit-by-bit. Just call it “Bootcamp.”
Here are the first two lessons:
What Every Good Soldier Should Know…
Know Your Authority (don’t miss Lucia’s downloads–they are very important–she picks up where I leave off)
Just go back and dig into those. Take your time. Do not rush through. These lessons are very, very important. They will make a big, big difference in how you handle difficulties in life. They will make a big difference in how you battle the enemy.
Speaking of that, let’s dig into today’s lesson. Read more
Wondering what Mommy Homework is??? Each week you will have an “assignment” here to share in our comments here on this site. You will love this-both sharing AND enjoying answers by others. Some of them, I compile into an ebook (contributors can resell as a product of their own–be sure to submit your email and full name when you register so I can credit you appropriately!).
The result is AWESOME!

Got leftover turkey?? How about a neat recipe? This will be a nice change of taste. Give it a try! And…you will have more time to prepare those love-made gifts!
1 medium jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
2 tablespoons apricot jam
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cups turkey, diced and cooked
1/4 cup roasted and salted almonds, or 1 large celery stalk, thinly sliced, or 1 cup chow mein noodles
In a small container mix the oil, vinegar, jam and jalapeno together. In a medium sized bowl add the chicken and pour the dressing over it.
Before serving sprinkle with noodled, celery or almonds and then toss.
Cindy,
I was listening to one of your MP3’s today while exercising. I can only get in bits/pieces at a time, but it was neat. I believe it was one on organizing. You had talked about having a place to write down thoughts, dump your brain every once in awhile, etc. You were encouraging us to even set goals that only with God’s help would they be accomplished. I thought that was so fitting for me. You see, my husband just quit his job last month because he felt that God told him it was time to set out and do his type of work on his own. That was a big step of faith because we have 4 children and monthly bill obligations.
In the past, I would have said, “No way, we can’t do that.” But after 15 years of marriage and realizing that if God has spoken to my husband, then my role as a wife is to follow and not try to interfere. So this time, I was more supportive and encouraged. I asked questions of course, but I was very careful to not be negative. I had a few slip-ups but caught myself. Read more
