How was your weekend? Mine was very refreshing. It was nice to have the whole weekend with my sweetheart. Speaking of him….
We are squealing with delight! My sweet husband just got his acceptance into Nashville School of Law. We are MORE than delighted! Looks like we will be spending even MORE time in Nashville–our favorite getaway! 🙂
I am so proud of him. God has given Harold the opportunity to pursue one of those hidden dreams that he tucked away until now. Harold has been such a devoted husband and father. We both wanted a family very young AND we were both committed to having me at home full-time to train up our children. That meant that Law School was not an option or possibility. Can you imagine our delight now that God has brought that dream full circle and made complete provision for us to go for it together? I am beyond words. Of course, today, I want to encourage you that even if you or your husband have a dream that seems impossible, don’t give up! Take that dream before the Lord. Give it to HIM! If God gives that one back, take that first step to move forward today–you never know how that step may be part of reaching for your dream. We had NO idea that little things along the way were part of this particular dream–getting out of debt, pouring into our children and their education, building our businesses, etc. It all counts! So, go for those baby steps today, this month, this year! And, Nashville, WATCH OUT! Here we come!
Speaking of Nashville, I will be at Podcamp Nashville this weekend (Saturday). I am sooo excited to not only attend their great workshops that are slated, but I will be teaching a session too. If you are going, email me so we can make plans to have dinner while we are there. I am BEYOND excited about this event! Harold says it is my techie-side that is being nurtured–ha! Mommy Homework: Share Your Easter Traditions
I love this time of year. Even though my children are grown, we still keep our traditions. Those traditions are the ties that have knit our hearts together as a family. They are the ties that have built our home. They are the ties that have brought security and protection throughout the storms of life. They are the ties that still bring our children back home. What are some of your Easter traditions? Hop over to my blog and share them. AND, when you do, you will receive Mommy Homework Credit. Well, go check out the details here: http://www.cindysdesktop.com/?p=3158
