Hey There Mommy Pals!
Ready for mom-time? I am!
How about taking a few minutes to just pull back with some friends? This issue is just perfect!
My friend, Phyllis Sather, is joining us for this issue. She has inspired me to take time this week to create our family letter for this year. We have had one of the most amazing years ever. I love her idea in this issue about capturing “our history” each year at this time. Just dig in and see!
We also have another treat! I don’t know if you are battling with your schedule right now, but I have really been having to make choices for what is and is not done each day. There are so many options… opportunities… and decisions. They bombard us each day. I want to make the most of every day. The only way to do that is to choose the very best and let go of the rest. Well, just dig into the treat below!
For those of you who have never downloaded audios, I want to encourage you to not miss our gifts each week. They are a treat that YOU can enjoy too! I got an email from a dear friend this week who had NO idea that she could listen to the audios even though she had dial-up internet. She had found herself frustrated over and over when we included them and she just passed them by. She also was frustrated because she did not think that she could join our online classes with dial-up internet service. Well, JUST IN CASE that is your struggle too, can I encourage you that *I* use dial-up internet for the online classes. Actually, I don’t get knocked off and kicked offline using my dial-up service. Don’t let that hold you back! Give us a try!
Now, if you have dial-up and want to try the audios, let me give a suggestion. Try iTunes. It is free. It is an audio player for your computer. You don’t have to have any Mp3 players. It IS a player for any type of audio online. You will love it! I set it as the default player for audios and videos on all of my computers. It is wonderful! Plus, you can use it to burn CDs and more! Just download it at no cost at iTunes: http://www.iTunes.com. When you do, also download QuickTime. Then, all you have to do is click on the audio and you can listen while you are online. If you want to save them, you can also save our audios by RIGHT CLICKING on the link, then choosing SAVE TARGET AS, then saving into your computer. If iTunes is set as your default audio player, when you click on the audio in your computer, it will automatically add it to your library. You can even create playlists so you have a special collection of our audios. Oh! Try it!
Speaking of try it… ready for the ezine? I am! I think you will enjoy this ezine. It is simple and sweet. So…without any further ado, get ready for a fun issue! Just grab a big cup of tea…or hot chocolate…and let’s dig in for a fun mom-time!
Happy homeschooling!
