Ok! I confess it! I cannot cook hard recipes! Yes, I have noticed a theme with my recipes. They are ALL easy!
This is a long-time favorite around our house. First, you can zip it up in just minutes. Second, it is a NO-FAIL recipe–well, unless you burn them! 🙂 Thirdly, it is soooo versatile. If you have a favorite cookie taste, you can do it with this recipe. Just use your favorite goodies in your batch. Love chocolate, you can go ALL chocolate with a chocolate cake mix and chocolate chips and even chocolate icing! Versatile! Also, this is one of the least expensive recipes I use in my house. It only takes three ingredients that I always keep on hand. Great snack. Great gift! And, this recipe is absolutely yummy! Why not give it a try today!
1 cake mix (can be any flavor…depending on your favorite kind of cookie!)
2 eggs
2/3 cup oil
Mix well until smooth.
Spoon ½ inch balls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 425 degrees for 8-10 minutes. (For a chewy cookie, only 8 minutes)
Options…
Strawberry Cake Mix…roll in confectioner’s sugar, top with cream cheese icing and sprinkles! Makes our Strawberry YUMMIES!
Lemon Cake mix…sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar after cooled
Butter Cake mix…mix in M&M’s or Chocolate Chips before baking
Chocolate Cake mix…mix in M&M’s, Chocolate Chips, or Reese’s Pieces before baking
Chocolate Cake mix…after baking, place a Small Reese’s cup in the center
Butter Cake mix…mix in White Chocolate and Macadamia Nuts before baking
Cindy this is a wonderful recipe that I use when I want something quick and cheap. My husband watches for the mixes to go on sale and when they get to around 30-50 cents a box he loads up and we keep them in our freezer.
I’m making these now & I put a link to this page on my blog:
