Haystacks are one of our favorite goodies! These are fun. Follow the directions below. As you drop them onto the waxed paper, drop them in the shape of “haystacks.” They don’t take long and are so yummy that they won’t last long either! 🙂
What You Need:
1 (6 ounce) package butterscotch morsels
2 tsp. salad oil
1 (3-ounce) can chow mein Chinese Noodles (2 cups)
1 small can salted peanuts
What You Do:
In top of double boiler over hot (not boiling) water, melt butterscotch morsels.
Stir in salad oil.
In a large bowl, mix chow mein noodles and peanuts.
Pour on butterscotch and mix thoroughly with a fork.
Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper or greased cookie sheet.
Let cool.
